The 3rd Commissioner District of Clallam County extends from west Port Angeles (on the east) to the Pacific Ocean, and from the Strait of Juan de Fuca (on the north) to the Olympic National Park and Jefferson County (on the south). It encompasses a geographic area of over 1,100 square miles of land and 158 miles of shoreline. It is home to 3 Native American nations and over 20,000 residents. The 3rd District incorporates over two-thirds of the land and only one-third of the population of Clallam County.
